Volunteer Speak
Since our birth on December 8, 2001, Janaagraha has welcomed hundreds of volunteers through our doors. Some have stayed on with us while others have interned with us for specific projects and moved on. Each of you has left your stamp on Janaagraha in a unique way and reaffirmed our faith in the power and spirit of volunteerism. Today, we have approximately 700 Janaagraha volunteers worldwide.
While the power of volunteerism lies in the strength of the volunteer community, its spirit is kept alive by the community staying connected, informed, and participative. Many of you have expressed a desire for a space to help you stay in touch - with one another and with Janaagraha. That desire has now taken on a life of its own in the form of VolunteerSpeak,an online hub where our volunteer community can interact, share experiences, exchange ideas, and stay up to speed with what's happening in Janaagraha and the larger volunteer world outside.
We hope this space will become a livewire brainstorming base; we hope our interactions are exciting and informative; we hope that all of us will inspire one another to be the change we want to see.
