dear residents,
a warm hello to one and all reading this...i would like to ask the concerned people as to what is that one thing that could really bring the change we all want to see....no matter what we do...how many ngo's we set up or institutions we erect...the corrupt always get away..the bad always get away..we blame politicians..but we have no other go..any person in power,no matter how honest he wants to be is always looked down and subdued...why cant there be any solution to bring in transparency in this system...without influences no work is done..what people think of is just money...cant ther be done nothing about this...??is this system never going to change..??does anyone have an answer for this????
No faith in the system
I am glad you pose these questions, the answer to these is very simple- what we see today in our surrounding is a reflection of who we are.What we do (eg Throwing garbage, wasting water etc) & even more by what we dont (Vote,file RTIs, educate underpriveleged).
Change yourself first, each decision you take is not only impacting you but your surroundings as well. You might say its NOT practical- well at the turn of the century they said the same about flying!
Here at Janaagraha we find ways in which ordinary citizens like you and me can bring a fundamental change not by band-aid solutons but by affecting change of which we are part and parcel of. To change the system one needs to know closely how it works then brng a fundamental change in it.. always remember its a process so lets move forward together rather than be frustrated and resigned:)
