Aparna Muralidhar, Communications Volunteer

Aparna is a Communications Volunteer on the HR & Volunteer Management Programme. Her contribution is marked by her commitment and discipline towards the tasks assigned to her. She holds a full-time position as Auditor Quality Assurance in Spheris, a medical transcription company. Despite a challenging work schedule, she is committed to her weekly visits to review communications work together with the team from Janaagraha.

Aparna has shown remarkable appreciation for the complexity of urban change, and spent several hours questioning, and clarifying her thoughts. She has contributed to writing content for three stages of volunteer engagement – Orientation, Induction, and Staying connected (once volunteers have completed their engagement). In addition she has supported the Jaago Re! One Billion Votes campaign with content development. Aparna has also helped in editing several documents for Janaagraha Communications. And all this with attention to quality that is exemplary. She has shown leadership to stay the course, and stay enthused to deliver and make a difference. Back in her workplace Aparna has displayed the courage of conviction while she encourages her colleagues to volunteer. Aparna is truly deserving of The Ribbon of Honour!
