Extending the platform for debate and dialogue
PRESS
The mainstream media, both electronic and print are important conduits to further the understanding of Janaagraha’s work in urban governance. We aim to engage and sensitise the Press on ideas, strategies, and action towards the goal of greater citizen participation and good governance. Over the years there has been an increased understanding of the nuances of our work whether in the area of public disclosure through the P.R.O.O.F.programme, growing the citizen child through the Bala Janaagraha programme, or our work to clean up urban voter lists, or dialogue between citizens and their local government – all have been widely covered in leading publications in India.
